Questionnaire

Where do you want to foster change and why?

I believe in people-centered design. This is not just design for the people but with the people. Design is a universal activity and as such it should be as open and accessible as possible.

What or who influenced you during your professional career?

Juan Ramón Martín, design professor in Salamanca, president of my regional designers association. He is a close friend and a mentor that has inspired to move forward without forgetting my roots.

We all have those significant moments or situations (success or failure); which one was yours, and what did you learn from it?

My first internship was in a newspaper Infographics department. I successfully pitched an idea to my boss. I was excited by it, he was too, even some more people at the newsroom. However when we launched it, it was a flop and the comments were brutal. Biggest lesson: they were right! Since then, no matter how much I can love or justify my own ideas, I remind myself that I’m not the final audience.
