Dimitris Kaboukos, Executive MBA, began his career after earning a Bachelor’s Degree in Business Administration from the University of Western Macedonia (formerly TEI of Western Macedonia) and an Executive MBA from the University of Macedonia. His academic background combined management fundamentals with strategic innovation, shaping a career dedicated to European projects, entrepreneurship support, and design-driven transformation.

Today, Dimitris is the Project Manager of MADres, overseeing the coordination and delivery of activities across the project. He is responsible for aligning day-to-day implementation with the project’s strategic goals, ensuring milestones and deliverables are met, and fostering collaboration among the diverse stakeholders engaged in MADres.

Beyond MADres, Dimitris serves as Head of Innovation Programs at Ideas Forward, an venture studio focusing on early-stage, deep-tech startups, based in Thessaloniki, Greece. Dimitris leads the design, development and delivery of founder support activities, innovation support programs -in collaboration with Universities, Research centres and other stakeholders-, and corporate innovation initiatives.

Passionate about design as a catalyst for sustainable growth, Dimitris works at the intersection of innovation, policy, and practice, building bridges between creative professionals, researchers, and policymakers to support Europe’s digital, green, and social transitions.
