Evija Kraukle, M.A., is a designer and communication professional whose work bridges information design, media management, and strategic communication across Europe. She studied design at the Art Academy of Latvia and Hochschule Luzern (Switzerland) with a focus on functionality, translating complex ideas into clear, engaging systems.

Evija’s career at BEDA has been marked by significant growth and impact. She began her journey as a designer and communication assistant. Over time, her role evolved into Communication Manager, where she now leads strategic communication initiatives, ensuring that the MADres project and BEDA initiatives are visible, coherent, and impactful across Europe.

In addition to her work at MADres, Evija serves as EU Project Manager at designaustria, facilitating cross-border collaboration within European design networks, and as Communications Manager at the IIID – International Institute for Information Design, where she manages media strategy and digital communications. Earlier, she gained hands-on experience as an intern in information design at High Performance Vienna, translating complex data into accessible visual systems.

Driven by a belief that design should be meaningful, functional, and inclusive, Evija combines creative insight with strategic thinking to make information and ideas accessible to diverse audiences. Her work with MADres exemplifies this approach, demonstrating how design and communication can amplify social initiatives and foster engagement.
